Seasons of Home| A Summer Trifle Recipe with Trader Joe’s Favorites

Here’s what I picked up:

  • One package of vanilla pound cake (or you can use any sponge or angel food cake)
  • A container of fresh strawberries
  • A jar of lemon curd
  • One container of whipped topping or their delicious vanilla bean Greek yogurt for a lighter twist

Assembly is easy as can be:
Just cut the cake into cubes, layer it with lemon curd, sliced strawberries, and your topping of choice. Repeat the layers until your dish is full, and refrigerate until ready to serve. It’s tart, sweet, creamy, and perfect for a summer afternoon.

I’ll be sharing a quick little video over on YouTube soon, so you can see how I put mine together. Just a cheerful way to start the month, celebrate simple pleasures, and maybe inspire you to create your own version—whether you’re a Trader Joe’s regular or not.

Here’s to July—may it be sweet, sunny, and filled with little delights wherever you are.
