An Autumn Tea…Part One

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are October’s”

Anne of Green Gables

-L.M. Montgomery

Hello, sweet friend…

Fall…
A string of lights just arrived…

Since moving into our new home…

hand embroidered tablecloth given by a friend…

I knew that there would be many gatherings…here

Dahlias & pumpkins…

so not too long ago…

I began planning…

Gifts for my guests…Fall earrings…

playing really

One of the trees Joe brought up from the basement

with the preparations…

For an Autumn Tea

I think the preparations are the most enjoyable part…

of any endeavor we take on in life…

I love my Fall seasonal trees…

Planning the details…
anticipating how things will evolve with time…

I found some raffia & swirled it around the tree…

Meet Oliver…the neighbor’s adorable cat 🍁
Mix & match it all!
Almost ready…but…not quite yet…
A second Fall tree for the living room…

choosing the decor…

Hard boiled eggs for tea sandwiches…(I ate one😉)

deciding on what to serve…
and what to wear…

Sunlight coming through the kitchen…

To be continued…
