Gratitude this week:
For the gentle unfolding of October days, for adventures on the horizon, and for the comforting reminder that change can be both tender and exciting.

Hello October! There’s always something refreshing about turning the calendar to a brand-new month. The air feels crisper, mornings arrive with softer light, and the simple rituals of autumn…warm drinks, falling leaves, and cozy evenings…make their way back into our days.
This October feels especially meaningful, as it arrives just after a milestone close to my heart: the publication of my novella. Watching those pages step out into the world at the close of September has been a tender reminder that dreams, when nurtured patiently, can truly bloom.
And yet, as much as I’m celebrating, I’m also looking ahead. October holds its own kind of magic…a month sprinkled with anticipation. Later this month, I’ll be traveling (a little adventure I’ve been dreaming about), and in the meantime, I look forward to the simple joys of autumn here at home: crisp walks, comforting meals, and moments of connection with community.
As the season unfolds, I’m grateful for the balance of both quiet, everyday rhythms and new adventures on the horizon. October feels like a chapter that’s ready to be lived fully…and I can’t wait to see how its pages turn.

Thank you for sharing the reflection that October is starting a new chapter.
It certainly feels that way with what you shared.
Hope your trip is all that you hoped for and looking forward to hearing more from you.
