A few weeks ago I had mentioned to my husband “causally ” that one of these summers we should go to Maine. Being that I only travel internationally (just kidding) I’ve never been there. Of course my husband had been there. Of course, because he’s been everywhere.(seriously)
We ate some yummy ice cream, from our neighborhood DQ. Don’t look to close at my face…I have ice cream all over it. And, if your wondering if I ate the whole thing…..Of course!
Then we sailed on over to our favorite Red Lobster restaurant. …
Where we enjoyed the most
delicious seafood lunch. I had lobster tacos, and Joe had lobster bisque.
Doesn’t that sound wonderful. .
And, While we were enjoying our lunch. I found myself getting a little homesick. … missing my kids… Cottage. … Garden. …Sorry, I’m silly that way.
Thank goodness, this was just a practice mini getaway! Because, we were able to
Get on our bikes….
And peddle as quickly as I could all the way
home, where my kids were so happy to see me!
Yes, summertime is the perfect time to plan summer fun adventures.
I think I just might need to continue practicing .♡
