Happy Friday! How was your week? Do you have any special plans for the weekend? I hope so! I’m looking forward to serving dinner at a local Homeless shelter this evening. Afterwards a group of friends will go out for dinner. ♡
My husband has been on vacation. .. so during the week we took several, simple day trips.♡
We went on a train ride, visited with friends, and went to lunch a few times. ♡
Our time together was simply divine. ♡
I also had the opportunity to meet two friends for lunch. We had met at Nordstroms Cafe. Can I share a mini secret with you dear friend…♡
Nordstroms cafe is a wonderful place to meet friends for lunch. Their menu is wonderful, and prices are even better. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the food is yummy!
I had ordered a wonderful soup, and tea. My two friends and I chatted for a couple of hours. (with just a teeny, tiny, bit of gossiping) I was reminded how very little I need to live a truly happy life. Food, and friends I love. Simple pleasures are the best. Both my friends sent me a message the next day..”Thank you for such a fun afternoon.” It made me feel good, to think I brought a little happiness into their lives too.♡
