How’s your week going? I hope your enjoying the fall like weather…
One of the things I enjoy about blogging, is that it’s really a soulful activity.
It is for me anyway. I am very in touch with my feelings. Today’s post will definitely be reflective of this truth.
My week actually began with a sad ending. A dear friend of ours passed away Friday. Oh…..my……what a wonderful human being he was. We met him and his wife several years ago. Oddly, he and I are sort of kind of related by a long distant relative.
So, they became like friends/family that lived right around the bend from us.
We all traveled together on a train. Shared lovely meals.
It’s not easy finding couples that enjoy each other’s company. All four…each one…husband/husband, wife/wife/ husband/wife, wife/husband.
Perhaps you know what I mean. Anyway….we all got along wonderfully. Well…anyway, sometimes I just need to write about a soulful experience.
And, yes…sometimes, it’s sad. He had been ill for most of this year.
Friday, marked their 11th year wedding anniversary. Oddly, Friday morning he passed away.
We visited that evening…and noticed a beautiful bouquet of long stem yellow roses. He had made arrangements much earlier, to have them sent to his wife on this day.
I will miss this wonderful man. So fortunate to have traveled together for a while….
