Karma. ..♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Happy Thursday!

How are you adjusting to these longer days of light?  I’m really loving the change. It’s funny, because in some ways it feels like I get more things done. Do you feel this way too?

For example the other day when I woke up, it was still dark outside. So I tip-toed downstairs,  poured myself some coffee…. and then headed back upstairs to do some reading, quiet reflection, yoga, and a little work on my “Marcia’s Cottage” blog. This is my usual routine during the week.(kind of, sort of)

Later that day I had an appointment with my spiritual director. (Yes. .. seriously) aka…a wise wisdom filled Lady. We had a wonderful visit. And during our conversation we spoke about  the different transitions we go through in life.  And because my friend is wise, she pointed out that when we take time to listen. ..We will always be guided during those times. She said it’s the way our universe works.  My wise friend also said that what is essential is to allow ourselves this alone time. … On my drive home from  my visit, I pondered how I would commit this block of time into my daily schedule.
Coincidently I’d recently read a term that the Buddhists use. . It’s referred to as “Bardo” I hadn’t ever heard of it before…Perhaps you’ve heard of it? Well, anyway it means “in-between” neither here nor there. I sort of thought of it similar to the month of March.  It’s in-between Winter and Spring.  In-between shorter darker days, to longer lighter days. I suppose each of us experience “Bardo” in our lives at some point.
I’m wondering if you have experienced “Bardo” my friend…I know I have. Actually,  it’s been visiting me quite often lately. (grin)
Psst…Can I share a little secret? I’m starting to like this little “Bardo” visitor. I’m thinking we just might become friends.♡
Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed your visit. Have a lovely day.
Xoxo. ..
