I LoVe BeAuTiFuL GaRdEnS….HoW AbOuT YoU…

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

Happy Tuesday! How was your day yesterday….I hope it was m.a.r.v.e.l.o.u.s!

The seasons always bring inspiration for me. And, can I share a little quirky secret? I love to create little bucket lists for each of them. How about you?http:www.pinterest.com/marcialren/my-bucket-list

For instance, one of my Fall inspirations….is visiting the beautiful Roger’s  Gardens in Newport Beach, California. They are the perfect eye candy inspiration for Fall. P.e.r.f.e.c.t!  I guess it’s become sort of a tradition. Well, at least for now….since traditions are really just simple but festive homegrown celebrations that create loving memories.http:www.pinterest.com/marcialren/life-is-a-journey

I took a little field trip there recently. There’s quite a bit of walking. So try and choose a nice weather day.

My favorite time is NOW…and then of course during the holiday season. It’s all inspiring. You don’t have to purchase a thing….I get lost in the adventure of looking.

The grounds are beautiful. I am not quite sure how many acres there are. Oh, and I forgot to ask if you have visited here before. If you have, then you know what I am talking about. If you haven’t, and you live in Southern California…..then you must go check it out for yourself.

They have the most charming, and unusual items for the garden. And, of course I LOVE charming, and unusual.http:www.pinterest.com/marcialren/artistic-flare

All of their pumpkins are grown locally on family farms. They have a HUGE variety of heirloom pumpkins as well as the standard pumpkin.

I love everything, everything, and especially everything. (grin)

A perfect patch to look for pumpkins.

I saw the most charming cat topiary.

Too bad I already have my own very charming, and unusual cat.

You can hear the sound of water everywhere due to the many fountains placed throughout the nursery.

I’m wondering where you visit to get FaLL inspired….

Fall Bucket List:

Take a drive to see beautiful Autumn foliage
Go apple picking and bake an apple pie…or two…or three (grin)
Carve a pumpkin
Go on a nature walk….with my camera (of course)
Take a “selfie” or two,….perhaps three…*wink*wink
Bake and decorate leaf cut-out cookies
Host a Fall dinner/tea party
Decorate my mantle with a Fall theme
Create a tradition
