DaY AfTeR DaY…♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend.
Shall we have a little tea.

How was your Monday? I hope that it was the most exciting Monday ever!

OK…I have to fess up. …I played all day yesterday. Played as in, I had a totally pampered day. A mani/pedi spa day. Lunch with friends.  And, I even did a little shopping.

I found the cutest dress, for Cami. I haven’t bought her anything for a day or two a while. I just can’t resist. Well, anyway I had this great day. My husband was on a one day mountain retreat, so I was free!  I would like to tell you that with all the fun things I did, oddly …I couldn’t help stop thinking  about this man we finally met. We have been seeing him for about 7 months now. I want to keep his privacy as much as possible, so I won’t say where I first saw him.

However, he lives out in the open land. (hills) He has a tent away from a main road. I have seen him in the Winter, Spring, and now
Summer. He is always there. Day after day. And, finally, over the weekend, I begged, pleaded, got my husband to stop so we could meet him. I must say, I wasn’t scared in the least...I knew he was safe. I was so curious about his story. As in where is his family? How does he eat? There is nothing around him at all. As a matter of fact, many people probably never even notice him. Well, anyway…we met him over the weekend. He was very polite, and nice. I wanted to ask him a zillion questions, and I told my husband that we could give him some food. All, that was accomplished was that we met him.

And, like I said he is extremely polite, clean, had reading material, nice chair with an umbrella over it to sit in, a rather large ice chest for food. Considering that he … I was going to say “considering” he doesn’t have a home. But, then I realized he does. He is well taken care of.  He seems happy. I am glad I finally introduced myself. This kind man reminded me of something that has been stirring within me. It doesn’t matter the size of our house or it’s location.  Our house does not need to be magazine-shoot worthy but it does need to give us that sense of JOY that no other place can. Home is where we feel comfort despite all that is happening in the world.  It is a place where we delight to come at the end of the day; I still don’t know his story…. Hmmm. don’t know why I kept thinking about him all day yesterday. yep…I guess I have been wondering about just how little very little some people need to be happy. ♡

                    Enjoy your day sweet friend….♡

                                             Xoxo. ..
