Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ..♡
How was your weekend? Did you do anything special? I sure hope so!
I had an extremely beautiful weekend. Starting on Friday, when I helped out a little at a local shelter. And of course, a ReAlLy fun part to that. .. is the dinner with friends afterwards. We always go to Paneras. I LOVE Paneras. We have the best time. .. and stay until they practically Kick us out! (Grin)
As usual the weekend was busy, busy. .. and I can’t share EvErYtHiNg on this post (even though I would love too) (big smile) but I wanted to share about a tour I participated in on Saturday. It was hosted by RSABG (Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden) which is THE largest botanical garden dedicated to native plants. They had “A Day of Garden Verses “
As we strolled in the garden
paths. …
Which were a lovely combination of plants.
Texture….
Color. …
And leaf shape. …♡
We were engaged in listening to the spoken word performed by California poets sharing their poetry. The poets stood at different stations along the various locations around the gardens.
This is a secret garden in Mesa Loop Trail.
This is an annual event in April, to celebrate National Poetry month.
California poets Welcome the season and National Poetry month by sharing poems that celebrate nature, and the golden state.
I’m wondering if you have ever experienced “A Garden of Verses Tour” I hope so. ..because it will bring you much JOY.
Thank you for stopping by. … I hope you enjoyed your visit. Have a great week.
Xoxo. …
