Thanksgiving Monday…♡

Hello, welcome to Marcia’s Cottage.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I had just the right combination of relaxation and being busy.  I’m looking forward to my Bible study today and sharing with the very nice group of ladies who attend. I am really glad to be a part of it. I really liked the prayer for this week’s study, it asks that we reflect on the divine purpose of our lives and to be grateful for our blessings. Wow. What a great way to enter into this Thanksgiving week.♡I hope you have a lovely day my friend. Thank you for stopping by. I just had to share my new little nook I created over the weekend upstairs… Isn’t it sweet. -♡A sprinkling of Christmas. … I have been working on another secret hideaway in our little laundry room too-♡ I think I just might create them all through … Continue reading

This is Cami. ..I know she doesn’t look “real” because she is so little, and cute.  But she is very real, my friend.  Do you see the comforter in the background? Isn’t it beautiful? A very dear friend quilted it, and then gave it to me for a birthday gift last year.♡ I love it. .. so does Cami. One day I will share the details of the beautiful stitching. Today I’m going to wrap that wonderful quilt around me ( and Cami) and finish reading several books. Sounds like a perfect Saturday to me. Thanks for stopping by. Have a … Continue reading

Sing a song of Turkey. …♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy you stopped by. I’ve been all cozy and warm,  sipping my favorite tea.  Would you like a cup my friend? Let’s sit in these comfy chairs.  These are in our little music room.  This piano was a gift from my father many years ago. He taught me the importance of experiencing joy through music. My father was an awesome singer. I have many fond memories of him singing while I played this piano. -♡ Oh my…What a nice little chat we’ve had,  but I must be going.  The weather is VERY blizzard like outside, and I have a fun little adventure I’ve planned (can you keep a secret?) Of course you can! I’m on my way to teach an art lesson at my husband’s school!   Joe is a Special Education teacher. I know I sound like I’m bragging…. But he is … Continue reading
